I'm Jager Weatherby from Wetpaint Entertainment, and it's official — I'm already in love with Damian McGinty Jr. from The Glee Project. Damian hails from Derry City in Northern Ireland — so you know what that means, right? He's sure to have an adorable accent. And though he's only 18, he's already been in the spotlight for several years. Freakin' overachiever! Damian joined the five-person Irish vocal group Celtic Thunder when he was only 14! So at the age when most guys only make money when they get a birthday card from grandma, Damian was already recording the group's first album. Damn, buddy — slow down! You're giving us a complex. Since then, the band has managed to record five more albums. Plus, they've toured all around the world, and have even performed at the White House for President Obama. If you can count the leader of the free world as a fan, you're in pretty good shape. In fact, we're guessing it's only a matter of time before Obama gets the words "I Love Damian" tattooed somewhere on his body. Get on that, Barack! But aside from his talent, Damian seems like a genuinely nice guy and we just wanna squeeze him til he bursts. (C'mon, admit it — you kinda want to, too.) His favorite bands are Coldplay and Journey — which is appropriate, since he'll probably get to meet Gwyneth Paltrow if he joins ...
